3. The Centurion at Calvary
7/6 Red (W/C) (Roman)
Negate special abilities on Evil Characters and evil weapons. Hero has access to all Sites.
Versus
6. David
10/3 Red (Israelite King, Prophet, Musician)
David may use and hold one weapon class enhancement from any good brigade except silver.
-
I am going to go with the only one I have ever used
Vote: David
(Hint, there may or may not be another reason for this pick)

David is nice, but this version isn't even his best form! Or second-best form! Meanwhile, Centurion sits over there negating ECs and laughing at sites.

Centurion.
David makes many other Red strategies work better, but I still can't give him the nod above C at Calvary. David almost needs CWD to be active when he makes a rescue.
-
While I think both David and Centurion are vital to a good red offense, I think that Centurion is better because of his N.T. Only access and negating ECs.

David, Very useful in Sam decks, gives speed and another color for site access, my sam deck has 6 brigades, and David is one of them, and never used centurion.

Of course your Sam deck won't use Centurion, because he stops Jair from working :P
-
Yeah, I would use him if I could, but I find Jair much more useful than the negate and access.
