Who is the better EC?

I think this is the only hard choice (other people will say Manny/TAS is hard, but no). I'm going ASA.

I know this will probably be a minority opinion, but I believe Survivor is better (at least from a T1 stand point).
1. Survivor has Initiative. This is key.
2. He also is protected from AotL/Grapes. Great asset.
3. He has Soul Generation. This is also key in T1. He can even play DoU to generate a Soul.
4. ASA needs another Assyrian in play. Survivor doesn't.

The main problem with Survivor is that he's easily prevented. For all the good he can do (and I definitely think he's the second best pale green character, and probably in the top ten best evil characters period), he simply has nothing on the ability to CBN discard any fortress, artifact, or mono-colored site. Survivor can be splashed into more decks for sure, but Assyrians aren't even a B tier defense without ASA at the helm. In T2, ASA is really ridiculous, because with 2KH on him, Forgotten History x4 is just a bit broken. Thus, ASA gets my vote. Heck, even if Survivor is a little better in T1 (which I don't think he is), ASA's dominance of T2 is it for me.

Survivor is definitely better in T1, since you don't have to have another Assyrian out in order to use him (and they do tend to die, not to mention there aren't as many good ones). I actually fear him and DoU more than ASA with horses, and he doesn't even need horses to use enhancements because of his initiative.
Eventually you run out of things to blow up. You never run out of a need to rescue Souls.

Right now Survivor is the more important card in T1.
