Added and for future reference I will plus 1 comments when I have added any nominations to the list

Can you change the white/yellow heroes. I can't read any of them without highlighting.
-
FTFY.
-
Um how is this going to work. With nine teams since there are eight colors Plus Multi.
-
The last time this was run, multi-color heroes were distributed into the single-color categories and it was suggested that could be improved by putting them in the color that best fits with their general them (Daniel would go to green rather than white, Samuel to Gold rather than green, etc.).
I think that's the best way to do it, unless you want to have 3 1v1v1 brackets rather than 4 1v1 brackets. :P

May be a joke, but I'd honestly like that format. It'd be more fun, in my opinion, to have more than just two options. You'd have to select the 'best' of each group, and we'd have a much more interesting final.
However, that does mean that all "multi" characters (of which there are not as many, and they are generally designed for one brigade in particular as pointed out) would be thrown together, and that may not be as good...
Hrm. I'd vote for 3 1v1v1 brackets, thinking it over :)

I am unsure of how to conduct an official poll on the forum but it would be cool to take a vote on how to do the bracket set ups 1v1v1 or 1v1.
I think I would also go for a 1v1v1 format

The problem with 1v1v1 brackets is the possibility of mismatches. If, say, Isaiah won green, he may win against Uriah and Priests of Christ (if the bracket was green/red/teal), but lose to Thaddeus and AUtO (if it were green/purple/silver). 1v1 works best because there will always be only one opponent, and it takes out the aspect of "Oh, he'd be in the last round if he hadn't faced him."

Wait, if they are the best, they are the best. You got the same argument last year when certain cards lost, "they would have gotten further if not put against XYZ!"
It doesn't matter who gets paired up against who, that's the whole point, if they are good enough to move on, they'll move on. This argument has always been silly to me ;)

Wait how do 3 1v1v1 brackets work since we have only 7 colors?
-
Red, Blue, Green, White, Purple, Silver, Teal, Gold
That's 8 and a multicolor "brigade" would make 9 categories.

I seem to have forgotten Blue while I was counting colors. Its a silly color anyway

That would be my list. Probably a lot of the discrepancies have to do with the fact that I'm a T2 player (Spy and Temple Priests are best or second best Heroes in their respective themes in T2. Probably not as much in T1).
-
I agree with the Prof's adjustments except I would take Tribal Elder over Ira (K) and Simeon (Di) over Benaiah (K).
-
I would suggest....
Blue: Mark
Purple: Jonathan
White: Mary, mother of Jesus
Oh wait...this is not to see which heroes need reprints?
-

I agree on Simeon, but I don't think Tribal Elder is really that good. Rachel took the place of him in the TE+Jake+Captain banding chain, and the fact that he is from Exodus means he doesn't really fit in a standard Gen offense all that well. Add to that the fact that he is not CBN/P/I, and he just doesn't make the cut, especially over a FBTN-WC Hero that still does well in FBTNB decks.

Reason for Gideon and David: They are crucial to making Edict and Bravery work. Even when I play Judges splash, AUTO/Gideon/Edict will always be the first 3 cards I add on the Judges' side.
-
Good call on Asahel, completely forgot about him.
-
Yeah, I've been updating my list with things that I've forgotten.
-
Simeon should obviously win

I'm amazed at the number of people that don't think Daniel is one of the 8 best White heroes in the game.

We ran into this issue two years ago. The fact of the matter is that Daniel is a rather weak white hero. If you're playing Daniel in a white deck, you're doing something wrong. It's the green in him that's good.
Imagine we didn't have a multi category for evil and we were doing the same sort of process. Would Foreign Wives be in every single category, or just in black and brown?
Daniel is a great hero, and he's white, but he's not a great white hero.
-

Black, brown, gray, gold, pale green.... Not crimson because she's not Babylonian, maybe not pale green because Assyrians and magicians, but more than black and brown. :P
I do agree about Daniel, though.
-
Maharai wa certainly shouldnt be on the white list. He has long out lived his usefulness.
