Amon is super conditional
-
King Amon is far more consistent in a single game. Slightly better inish, one of the best themes in the game, with the potential to stall indefinitely.
Uzzah is Uzzah. My vote goes to him.

I thought it would be closer than it actually is..

In the same way (and when I say this I mean not very similar at all) to an AUtO attack, an auto-block is almost always better than everything else.

I find it interesting that Manasseh is winning his match in the other thread with one of the big reasons being he's great in KoJ decks, yet Amon (one of the reasons stated for why Manasseh is better than EM) is losing quite readily here. :P

Even more interesting to me is that I'd have a slightly more difficult time deciding between EM and Uzzah than either of the two polls...

where the "they are both bad" option

Here's the thing: Amon is better, but he needs more support. If you have Manny and Scattered in your discard, you can block forever. Uzzah, on the other hand, only needs one card. Nothing specific, just as long as you have an artifact you get a free block. That, combined with the prevalence of TC remove discard piles (getting rid of a discarded Manny and therefore stopping Amon) is why Uzzah will win.
