The first installation of "Design and Development" was about Joseph. If you missed it you can find it here.

I'm taking votes on which suggestion to use for the next Article. There's a good chance I'll end up writing several of these but popular vote will probably be a big determining factor in the order that I publish them. Your opinion matters! Let's see what you guys want. :)

The options are below. Voting will last one week.

Grapes
TXP Magicians
Territory Class

Thaddeus
Judas Themed Cards

Covenant With Death
Angel Under the Oak/Angel With the Secret Name
Gates of Samaria
Bravery of David
Tower of Thebez

It's cool to see the votes spread out quite a bit. 22 votes and no idea has more than six votes? Neat. =)

There were a couple drastic changes to that card too. I thought it would be a pretty interesting story. ::)

I'm still rooting for Gates of Samaria ;D.

I have all the notes for the testing of the entire set and I've still never heard of the version of that card you claim to have seen. ;)

Aww. I have the file dated at 2/11/11, but I think there was an earlier version I saw. I was really confused at it because I don't think it works as worded.

46. Gates of Samaria
Evil Fortress
Protect Evil Kings of Israel in your territory from opponent's cards. Your brown Kings of Israel cannot be ignored. Opponent must discard 1 card (from hand) for each hero in battle.

Oh, I see what you mean now. The reason that wasn't familiar to me is that last line, about discarding, was never actually on any version of the card or something we tested. It was simply a suggestion someone made along the way. :)

We haven't talked about how broken Thad is recently. Let's do that.

Are they really that special?  I didn't think that they required much thought.

We already know what happened to Thad.  They thought he would be underused, made him "a little" better too late to properly playtest him.  The rest is history.

Almost every card needs to have alot of thought put into it, especially when you see them in almost every samuel or  judges deck.

I'm still waiting for the article on ANB.

/awaits STAMP's +1.
Appropriately -1'd, so the balance of the ANB force is maintained.

Shush. I'll keep deleting it until STAMP is the only like, then I'll screencap it, and make it my avatar.

I wonder how it would impact voting if I were to consider starting with the card that got the least votes and working my way up to the one that got the most to increase the anticipation. ::)

Actually, there's a pretty big difference between of poll of "what should I do first" and "what should I do last."
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
