I was just reading a dffernt thread and the OP mentioned Samuel and Genesis decks being fast.
What makes them fast?

Samuel has a LOT of drawing (8+ cards per rescue attempt).

Genesis can search for whatever it wants, and then draws a ton from the Egyptian defense.

You mean like Samuel/David and maybe some judges.

Look at a card from the red new tin and a card from warriors.

The ideal band goes something like this: Angel Under the Oak --> Samuel --> Armorbearer --> Ishmaiah the Gibeonite --> any OT WC guy you want. That's 7 cards drawn and 1 card searched. Use that a couple times and you've got your whole deck.

There's ways to push it further, using King Hiram and The Throne of David.

I forgot Throne could draw. Make that 9+ cards drawn and 1 searched.

Genesis is fast not because of huge+ at once, but because of massive amounts of +1. Answer to Prayer, Well Reopened, Angel at Shur, Stone Pillar, Zebulun, Numerous as the Stars, and Rachel are all effectively +1, Dan is +2, Eve can be +anything, and Creation of the World is +5-8 and also a battle-winner.

Another thing that makes both of them so fast is that their centerpiece is silly easy to get. With Samuel, all you need is Samuel OR Angel under the Oak OR Angel with a Secret Name OR Mayhem OR Wheel within a Wheel in your opening hand. For Genesis you need Joseph OR Rachel OR Stone Pillar OR Angel at Shur OR Answer to Prayer OR Numerous as the Stars OR Mayhem. Generally speaking, if these decks don't have their main hero out by turn three at the very latest, then something is very wrong.

Samuel negates play abilities so you couldn't use him if you want to use throne of dave

Dan isn't used. And u forgot Leah and Joseph who also search up to 10 more cards. Creation is hard to play because it's Green.

But Genesis has an infinite recurring w/ Asher, + 2 recurr Enhancements. I know because I play them. If u play it right it can be an easy OTK deck.
Just needs Dinah.

He said "lol @ (that statement)" because Leah is generally not used, while Dan is.

since OTK's in every ccg involve winning the entire game in one single turn, explain to me how its possible to rescue 5 lost souls in one turn. ???

Angel of Deliverance x4 + Primary Objective + SoG + NJ. This is actually much easier.

Well, you have to manipulate your opponent to put a bunch of captured heroes in sites, but he's almost as broken as Eleazar's Sword.

Right, it's strange because I was looking through some cards and found him and was about to make a thread asking if his ability actually could just rescue a ls after a rescue attempt, or if it was just outdated wording. Interesting. I might have to try this...
