So, in your opinion, who are the top five best Heroes and ECs in the game?
Here are mine:

I know a garentied block is awsome but should a 1 and only 1 block character really be considered the best in the game?

Right now I have him as the fifth ranked purple hero. I think. He might be lower. He was overrated last year too. Susy deserved to win.

The reason Uzzah is so good is that he's an autoblock character, and really one card, since you aren't specifically putting in an artifact to discard with him, as well as being CBInterrupted.

Well let's see. The highest placed deck that was disciples was Andrew's and he was running his Trolololol deck more so after that I don't know who had the highest deck but notice 1st and second were both TGT I believe. Matt with hie Red/White and John with his straight TGT deck (This I think I'm right on) and henceforth why Susanna is better.

EDIT: Not that that is a bad thing, it is more accurate in someways because type one is most popular.

If Gomer makes several of these top 5 lists and gets a lot of attention why doesn't anyone care about Spirit of Temptation? What makes Gomer so mutch better?

Gomer has access to much better enhancements than SoT, like Haman's Plot & Image of Jealousy. Plus, she can band to KoT.

FWIW, Samuel is waay overrated this year. Angel Under the Oak is phenomenal.

He becomes even better when you pair him with Suzzy. Oh what's that I have to discard the top card of my deck to use his ability? well I guess it's a good thing I just used suzzy to put a lost soul on top. It doesn't say put it in play if it's a lost soul so I just discarded a lost soul and 2 of your evil characters.

Suzzy puts cards on bottom Lp.... so that wouldn't quite work.

that would do it. I think there's actually a few cards that could make that combo work. but let's put it this way, put this guy divination and suzzy in the same deck, and the negator lost soul (no hopper) and you could make your opponent pretty mad. start with 7 souls, bury one, SOG/NJ 2, and use this guys ability on another you now have 3 souls for your opponent to rescue. Use suzzy to keep putting it on bottom and go nice and slow. You might now win but you can troll your opponent.

Only global mods can post polls. Otherwise I already would have started the nominations. I have most of my nominations picked already. I was going to PM Bryon about it, but since he posted on this thread already, I would assume he would have done something by now.

Once a year, everyone votes on the best Heroes/ECs in the game. It has its own board here:

I'm running the nominations and Bryon is doing it afterwards; we've got it covered, sorry.

Chronic Apathy is running the nominations for best heroes in each brigade this year. We will put multi-colored heroes into any brigade that they have. They can be nominated in multiple brigades, but will only be included once in the whole bracket - in the brigade in which they are ranked the highest. In the last couple days of February, the nominations will be counted, and the top 8 nominees in each brigade will be posted, ranked 1 to 8 based on the number of times each was nominated. On or around March 1, I will use the final lists posted by Chronic Apathy to post 4 head-to-head polls for each brigade. I will be a total of 32 polls representing 64 heroes.
In April, hopefully, Jordan will run his poll for "The April Fools" (best ECs). In that poll, multi-colored Evil Characters get their own category (to make a total of 8 groups of 8).
