Which artifact is better, Three Nails or Cross Beams?
I was unsure whether all beasts were demons or all demons were beasts, but not vice versa. Haha, I got all confused so thanks for the help
-
Three nails because ALL beasts except Levithan are also demons. I think.
-
three nails is better its ruled (well since i can remember) beasts are demons

leviathan is not a beast hes an animal

Three Nails is more useful, because all beasts are demons, but not all demons are beasts. Few people use Cross Beams of the Cross, but Three Nails is widely used.
However, Cross Beams can remain on a hero (Simon of Cyrene).

Leviathan is not a beast. In Redemption, Beasts are defined as "a demon in the form of an animal." So Bear, The Winged Leopard, Red Dragon, etc. are all beasts.

so if your Genesis or Luke deck or any deck for that matter... is having a huge problem with Romans or KOT or Red Dragon ect.... (KOT is a beast right? I thought he was back in the day....) but you are using Demons as a defense and you cant use Three Nails it may be fun just to throw in a Cross Beams and watch your opponent cry at this unused card.

Man Isildur always comes up with some useless cards.
MoTS.

KOT is a beast right? I thought he was back in the day....
Nope. KoT is just a demon. Not a beast.
-
Even though he looks like a motorcycle riding bear?
-
More like a motorcycle riding goat on steroids.

Oh well that just makes me sad.... Well at least Red Dragon and all of the Tin dudes are Beasts still hehe...

so CBotC is Useless? :P

so CBotC is Useless? :P
No. It has a few advantages: No Evil Characters target it specifically (Seven Sons of Sceva discards Three Nails), and Simon of Cyrene can keep it active on himself. Would I ever use it in a tournament level deck? Unlikely. But I wouldn't say it's necessarily useless.

no its not useless its just a lot more specific in how to use it well lol but it can be helpful

Hmm, I did not know that....are you really sure about Bear?

Bear is a beast:
Beast
One possible role of a character (see Character’s Role and Gender) is beast. Beasts are non-human Evil Characters of demonic origin and non-human shape. All beasts are demons (but not all demons are beasts).
Several Redemption® cards refer to Beasts. The following cards refer to Beasts:
• Angel at Shur, Authority of Peter, Beast from the Sea, Blood of the Lamb, Cross Beams of the Cross, Evil Strength, Mighty Warrior, Samson’s Strength, and Victory
The following cards are considered Beasts:
• Beast from the Earth, Beast from the Sea, Bear, Frog Demons (Warriors) or Frog Demons (Promo), Locust from the Pit, Red Dragon, The Bear, The Terrifying Beast, The Winged Leopard, and The Winged Lion
emphasis mine.
