IMO, Luke Heroes, Daniel Heroes, Deacons, and Philistines are all themes that sort of got started, but aren't really structured enough for a good deck. I think each brigade should have at least two different structured themes to it, which would offer some more diversity when using a deck. Whatever the next set is, I hope it adds a little "oomph" to these depleted themes.

Well luke heroes just got off the ground so it will take some time. Same with consolidating the Phils into Black. Daniel heroes need help I agree, and deacons aren't even a real theme yet (There is...1 deacon based card)

I'm just trying to say that there are really only a few themes that many people use; there should be tons by now! And why not build off what we already have, like one or two deacon cards?

As for Philistines, all it needs is Philistine Archer and a couple of enhancements and it's good to go. In fact, it's better if they don't do reprints to get it all in black. ;)

That's what I think too; actually, the only reprint I really want is a warrior-class Goliath with the ability to hold both his spear and his armor. Add an enhancement or two and that's all you need.

As for Philistines, all it needs is Philistine Archer and a couple of enhancements and it's good to go. In fact, it's better if they don't do reprints to get it all in black. ;)
Dont worry the Philies will get a small but helpfull boost that will help them become far more playable.

In the Bible there were 7 Deacons (Parmens, Philip, Stephen, Nich of Antioch, Prochorus, Nicanor, and Timon) whose job it was to care for the Poor, Elderly ect pretty much like Church wellfare. They were there so that the Apostles could do preaching and healing instead of giving out stuff to the poor ect. I have no clue what the modern Deff is lol. The stuff about Deacons is in Acts some where in the first 1-7 chapters I think...

Yeah, there should be an Exodus theme, with Aaron, Miriam, Moses, Drawn Out, all those good Plagues, etc. At the moment, there sort of is an Exodus theme, but it's split between Green and Gold.

I heard from a friend of mine saying we can't reprint Goliath, unless all blue packs are sold out, so if you want warrior class Goliath, then start buying packs. LOL. Next is Luke and John, I have a feeling there will be new cards for the Luke and John in the next set whatever they are trying to make, because like you say they are weak, I mean the only person that I know of right now built a nice luke and john deck that owns everyone.
More enhancements for the persians and greeks, that is for sure.

This whole paragraph is contradictory. John was originally in the green Prophets packs. He has been reprinted twice - once as a Local Promo and again in the G/H decks, but Prophets have not sold out. You then mention a reprint of Luke, who was originally printed in Apostles, which have also not sold out. Your belief that Goliath can not be reprinted until the blue packs sell out sounds more like a marketing ploy than a reality.
Besides, a WC Goliath would take away his current ability to retain multiple weapons. I think a WC character can only hold one weapon at the end of battle. Goliath is not WC, so that rule does not apply to him. Therefore, the SA of Goliath's Spear and Goliath's Armor both allow him to retain them after battle.

I don't know if that would be an identifier or a SA, but the main reason I would like a WC Goliath is for the Kings Philistines that say "May band to a warrior-class philistine." Currently, they are unable to band to the head honcho himself, as he isn't warrior-class.

You would want it to be an identifier so that it cannot be negated. BTW, you could always use the Warriors version of the Philistine Band. ;)

Eh, you wouldn't be able to get the full use, since you can only get like three of the guys together at a time. (I believe lil' Ishie would be left out.)
