On the three lions gaming website for the persecuted church single and booster packs says expected delivery time set currently at August 20th but may vary based on availability from Cactus.
but before this was mentioned I read somewhere that the card set will be released at Nationals this year ( I am assuming between July 30 to August.1)
1. Does anyone know if the booster packs will be available for purchase and shipped out right away at either Three lions gaming , Covenant games or Cactus game design between ( July 30th or Aug.3rd) ? a few days during or after Nationals?

In the past Rob has had a shipment of the new cards expedited to arrive in time for Nationals and the remainder of the printing comes within the next month, so if TLG says August 20th that's probably what you should use as a basis.

That is correct. The cards released at Nationals will be very similar in nature to the cards released at Nationals last year. There may be a few tweaks made to a couple cards after that initial release. Therefore, Nationals is effectively a pre-release of the new set with the anticipated release date being August 20th.

I thought Gabe said here (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/redemption-card-play/the-persecuted-church-new-set-spoilers!/msg544975/#msg544975) that the cards had already gone to print, and reads to me like that's the final versions. Not that there can't/won't be differences between Nats and the full release, just that they won't change between them.

I stand corrected. The final shipment will not be available until August 20th since only a small portion of the cards are being expedited for Nationals.

I haven't heard that Rob plans to do a small print run for Nats and then a larger, final print run afterwards for the official release. But that doesn't mean that isn't his plan. Last year, The Early Church was rushed out on short notice with less testing and play tester input than normal. The 1st print run at Nationals and the 2nd "official" print run was a way to help elevate the problems that weren't caught as a result. I'm far more confident this year as we had a large amount of testing and input before these cards were finalized.

Does anyone know if there will be a limit as to how many packs you can buy at Nationals, similar to last year?
