Can Glory of the Lord protect Z's temple 
No. It protects Solomon's Temple because it says it does. It protects The Tabernacle because The Tabernacle says it does.
From a game play standpoint there is nothing that says Glory of the Lord protects Z's Temple. From a Biblical standpoint the Glory of the Lord had left the temple and not returned when it was rebuilt.
