hey,
I've been playing Star Realms on the app for a few years now and realized that a one player was closing in on a milestone of Level 100. That represents 4950 more wins than losses in a game where the top players win 55-60% of the time - meaning they had to play a lot of games to reach that level. I calculated that they took an average of at least 220 turns per day every day since the app was released. This represents a huge, almost staggering amount of personal investment in the game. And, the community was able to celebrate with him in reaching that level today - complete with a twitch livestream and an explosion of comments on facebook. He's to be interviewed on Megahaulin', the game's podcast. I'm encouraging them to honor him with an avatar that can be unlocked on the app when you reach Level 100. And, I'm sure there are more celebrations coming. I see nothing but positives coming out of this accomplishment.
I realized this evening that I don't think Redemption has any of these milestones in place. Obviously, since it isn't an app, it can't be tracked that way, but maybe we could brainstorm some creative ways of introducing milestones to Redemption. I appreciate the HoF and bringing light to some of the players' contributions to the game. I recognize the yearly RNRS and Tim's efforts to compile all those together. And, these are starting points, I think there's potential for bettering the game through something like this.
What say you?

Has anyone ever won all seven categories at Nats over the course of their career?
-
Ron Sias is close I believe.
I think he only needs t1-2p. He might needs teams as well.

No one has--Jordan is the only person to have placed in every category at Nationals (aside from Sealed deck MP since that category was discontinued).

Ron is by far the closest. He needs Teams, T1-2P, and Booster. He has sealed deck multis in place of boosters.
After Ron, Justin is closest I believe. ( T2-2P, T2-MP, T1-MP, Sealed, Teams? Do you have a Teams Justin?)
-
I do not...like Ron I need TEAMS, Booster and T1 2P.
-
I believe I have a sealed ranking. I know I have a T2-2P, T2-MP, T1-2P, and Booster. So teams and T1-MP. But some of those are not first place finishes. There has been other milestones, multiple rankings at Nationals, going undefeated rarely happens, maxing out RNRS, placing in all 3 categories a person plays in at Nationals just to name a few.

Don't forget the person, other than Rob, that has attended every Redemption National Tournament. Who has the most wins in Nats?

That would be Ron Sias. And actually, Rob has not been able to attend every Nationals.
