Title: Protect

Ok so my opponent RA with an angel and I blocked with Disbelieving Sadducees which protects LS from being rescued by an angel. So what happens now? Does he go back to his territory or does he get discarded? Or maybe the battle continues as a battle challenge??

The battle keeps going as a battle challenge, but unless a human is in battle (or Disbelieving Sadducees' ability is negated), no soul would be rescued.

Your souls would be "protected from rescue by an angel" so unless something negates the blocker/protect abilities or a human hero enters battle the rescuer loses acess making a battle challenge.
