New Ability Concept: "Delay"

I've been thinking about this for a long time now and I think it would be really fun to try. My idea was for a sort of prevent ability that would allow the prevented ability to resume after a set time. I was going to call it either Delay or Suspend, and it could be a sub-category of Prevent, meaning CBN and CBP abilities would be protected from it.

Some examples of fun abilities involving Delay:
"Delay all special abilities on evil characters until the first good enhancement is played this battle."
"(Interrupt and) delay the special abilities of all enhancements played this battle until the end of the battle."
"Delay the special ability of the first good enhancement played this battle until another good enhancement is played."
"...Cannot be Delayed."
and so many other possibilities for all types of cards...

Interesting idea, but my gut reaction is that this would lead to a LOT of confusion.  The cost might outweigh the benefit.

+ 1 This idea is in the game Magic already (but with counters but same "idea") and imo it looks fun on paper but when actualy using it is really not that great.

I've thought of an idea like this as well, and I think if used right, could be a nice addition.
The idea was sort of feuled for me when you (at least I think it was you) made that one curse that basically "delayed" special abilities on heroes until an EC entered battle. I don't remember the exact wording. Also, as The Warrior stated, Miraculous Hankerchiefs pretty much already has an ability like this, so I don't claim full credit for this idea at all. I'm just the guy who made the thread. O0

+1, I think that it sounds fun but would just end up being not that useful or overly complicated... I would much rather see more card maniuplation (Wandering Spirit, Gates of Hell)
