With Samuel gone, I wonder if the meta will shift away from the throne offense. I think flood survivors maybe be the top offense but I wonder with decks like John's CoD and Kevin's Teal deck if even that is true. What do you think? What kind of decks on are you leaning towards? It may be too soon to tell since we still have a lot of cards left to see in LoC. What we have scene so far is White and Blue are definitely getting a power boost!

Daniel decks are pretty strong too. Sepjazz and JD are on to something.

Daniel offense definitely gets a boost from the cascade negate ban too and that banding chain is ridiculous. I can't wait to play in the upcoming season!

I think that straight meek hero's might be meta this year.

Only if they can setup really fast which is the primary strength of the flood decks. With Sam (RoA) gone, throne will definitely not set-up as quickly as before or have the same level of consistency in those first few turns. A meek offense would definitely have to be quick to be meta but the new Ruth offense is promising.

With LoC adding so many more cards in tandem with Meekness getting a substantial boost, I would expect there to be much more variety in decks because people will be testing out different things and I don't think there will be enough time for most to really nail down the new "play X+Y+Z and win" deck.

oh for sure I agree. With the new change for how negating a card works , banding is really going to be more powerful now.

Cascade going away helps for sure, but since most of my charcters are CBN from TFA, its not a game changer

Daniel wasn't part of the LoC. Thus JD's winner card is one of 2 Daniel cards featured in LoC. I don't think we're ready to preview the other one yet.

With Samuel gone, I predict people will gravitate towards a "turbo" Esther build, since it is so easy to play.

I doubt itll be meta, but 1st Turn creation gets plenty of toys from the look of things thus far. I'd be willing to bet there will be a build that's competitive in T1. Genesis just has so many options it's hard to pin down.

Judges will probably be around also... AutO to draw - search/exchange + Gideon, AwtSN to exchange and add CBN goodness to Enhs., Jair to draw and grab Judges Seat (if you run it), Joshua + Cap (FbtN or Draw,Negate, Band)... maybe not as fast, but still strong...
