If a LS is protected from Opponents does that include Rescue?
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

What ls is protected from opponents? But I would say not, not unless the ls says "protected from rescue." A normal "protect ability" only applies by default to special abilities and numbers, not game mechanics. You can't be protected from drawing cards or making a rescue attempt.

Decks can be protected, which would keep a draw from working.

Just sayin'.

Sorry, should have specified drawing cards during the draw phase. You can't protect a player from drawing cards during his draw phase. You can negate drawing, but not protect against that game mechanic.

There is one card, I forget which it is, that forces your opinion to choose between skipping the draw phase or the battle phase of his next turn.

Displeased Philistines, I believe. But skipping a phase is different than protection from draw.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

No that's mandatory, it's a crimson card that makes your opponent choose. And yes, I agree with Pol. That makes you skip, but you can't "protect" against game mechanics. Definitely not unless the card specifically states so.

You can protect from game rule insomuch that "protected from discard" protects from game rule, too. I don't know that "protected from opponents" extends to game rule, though. I always assumed "protected from opponents" was short for "protected from opponents' cards". Game rules aren't "opponents" so I don't see why "protected from opponents" would include them.
