I'd like to start by making it clear that I don't have any authority to make decisions on the distribution or availability of alternate border cards. I'm blessed to be able to help with the process of creating them. I can make suggestions just like you and I know Cactus Game Design greatly values our feedback. With that in mind...
There have been recent discussions about the availability of alternate border cards. That got me thinking, if Cactus were to “rerelease” alternate border cards from previous years, either at Nationals or through some other method, would people like to see alternate border cards from sets like Early Church and Persecuted Church?

How about non foil alternate border TXP cards?
-
I was just thinking of suggesting something like this myself and an awesome way I thought of to release alt-border versions of old cards is in the old cards that come with new packs. Having the possibility of getting rare fancy border versions of our old favorite cards would make opening the entire pack, and not just the four cards from the new set, give that rush of excitement that makes pack opening so much fun.

I think it would be cool to reprint some of the old cards that have poor wording and the new format.
I know a lot of people would enjoy a Mayhem reprint.

definitely dig the holographics too! would be cool to have some of the most popular cards with holographics and full art/borderless!

Alternate borders are cool, alternate art is cooler, and foils are coolest.

Totally agree.

I think I'd enjoy holo's/foils more then Alt borders. (But then again that's coming from a Yugioh player which loves to make rare cards foil so I'm a tad biased.)

I second this idea! 8)

This is such a good idea.
I know a certain other popular CCG is mixing in redesigned reprints of older powerful cards with the past couple of new expansions.

I like the idea but I don't like the idea of past sets being completely alternate border. I think that you should make mini sets maybe 50 60 cards and redo a few each year fixing old problems on the card as well as the alternate borders. This way we don't have to buy two whole sets each year but having a mini set somewhere around the end of the year with a few old cards all while fixing the wording on the old cards would be pretty cool.
-
At that point why not just release Gabe's Borderless deck as the mini set. It would be just about as cool if not cooler.
Or like Pokemon, release past Nationals top decks with full art card and/or variants.

I love all these ideas! Too many quotes to quote. :P
But yes, If there was a chance of a AB Captain of Host (even as a new UR)....I would buy ALL the packs
Rank of What I like:
1. Reprint Old cards in new format and/or AB (Base set of Redemption coming soon?)
2. Foils (Like high quality MTG type foils)
3. AB of PC or TEC.
