Title: goliath vs cbn banding chain

Philip and bart vs goliath. Do philip and/or bart go back even though their banding cbn? I'm thinking that goliath would be pushing them back not negating their band right? Which is right?

Goliath would push back Phil and Bart. The band is not negated, but as they aren't Giant Slayers, they are forced to withdraw. If, for instance, Asahel was part of a CBN band, he would not be returned, as he is protected from it.
