Post by: Watchman on April 09, 2017, 05:05:29 PM
If Barak is a musician how come white brigade wasn't represented on him and only red was?

Barak sang a song once. That qualifies him for the identifier musician based on our definition. We reserve white for Heroes whose musician identifier played a major role in their life. For example, people who were career musicians, or wrote multiple psalms.

The same is true of prophet and green. Being noted as prophesying once (King Saul) doesn't mean they get green brigade.

Speaking of Musicians, when are we getting that white/green Isaiah? ;)

Ok that makes sense. But how does he qualify as a musician if he only sung a song with Deborah? I'm not seeing how this qualifies (per the REGs definition). I'm not trying to be difficult or start an argument; I'm just wondering how this identifier was decided to be appropriate for him.

"Sang a song once" isn't really valid when you know about Hebrew culture and the fact that yu had t be trained in music to write and sing a victory song like that.

However, cards don't always get every brigade appropriate to their identifiers. Since the story of Barak is entirely about his military dealings (including his one composition that appears nowhere else), he's not "musician enough" to actually have the brigade.
