I was looking through the cards I hd and I found the hidden treasures and holy unto the lord holy unto the lord reads "shuffle all evil characters in play reveal your hand and discard all evil cards CBI". Now the down side to it is discarding the evil cards but with the bronze laver you can ruffle all evil cards to be able to bypass that factor. But back to the strategy. you go up with the teal/green lone prophet (Aaron from Di is the best) activate tabernacle and get out holy unto the lord. Then with hidden treasures activated you play holy unto the lord and shuffle all evil characters in play and BOOM free soul! (Reply if there is any flaws in the combo plz ::) ) but I didn't find any flaws!!!!!!! ;)

Definitely a great combo. Even better if your defense is Syrians with House of Rimmon because it protects them from shuffle so they lose their defense but you keep yours (except for what's in your hand).
The opponent could still block from hand however so it's not necessarily a "free LS," but you certainly limit their options.

Yeah you bring up a great point well I can deff look into it at some point to make that defense thx man if anyone else comes up with any better ideas but that is a GREAT idea :P :P

Because you are running teal, run urim and thummim so you know when they don't have any evil characters in hand to block you with, and then you can drop the hammer.
-
The combo is even strong with a form of hand control that encourages them to put evil cards down, like i Am Holy.

Ooh, old school. Nice. 8)
Generally I'd say Holy Unto the Lord is pretty bad unless you're going for your last soul as it leaves you defenseless most of the time and doesn't hit your opponent's hand. But with Laver, demons, and Gates to grab your defense from below the deck, I could still see Holy being played like this nowadays (in Reserve with Tabernacle to grab it).
Then again, if you're running teal, you're almost 99% better off just recurring Zeal for the Lord endlessly with Tabernacle. It's close to busted with Phinehas. But Hidden Treasures and the Holy setup is hands-down more fun. ;)
PS - they say they added red to the new Jordan Interrupted to give red an interrupt draw 3, but I'm thinking it was more to limit its copies in T2 and recursion with Tabernacle. Conspiracy? You be the judge.

It did seem like a very odd choice for them to add red. I seriously wondered why when it was announced. Now it all makes sense.

I agree with MQ. I actually ran HutL in the reserve of my T1 Tabernacle deck, but dropped it in t2 in favor of 4x Zeal and Gifts & Offerings. HutL would basically only be used for the final soul, since it seriously hampers your own block next turn.

Even better. Use U&T as recommended above to ensure they don’t have characters or doms. Walk in for a 3rd soul by playing HUtL while revealing SoG/TSC...just smile as you discard your evil cards from your hand.
FTW

What are the abbreviations for hutl??

Couldn't you use the original one to avoid this in the T2?

For sure, you just wouldn’t get the draw 3 benefit.

Actually the way I am running it is a musical prophet deck. because earlier in the game I can get out holy unto the lord and then later when the combo is set up I can throw it down. it is more of a battle winner for the last 2 souls not such as a super recurable thing. but I like the way some people are goin with it!!!!
