Newbie asking questions about cards and game play.

Hello everyone,

Me and my wife are pretty new to the game, we have been playing for about 6 months. I was wondering the following:

1. How many dominants can you official have in a deck?
2. How does the demon card " Foul Spirit" work, when it states as it special ability, "Negate all special abilities on all character and enhancement cards except this one." Does this mean only during battle or or the whole time it is on the field?
3. Banding? The rule book is rather unclear about it.

That is all for now.

Also as a side note there needs to be tournaments here in Spokane Washington where I live.

Welcome to the game and the community here.  If you're interested, feel free to join our online tournament.  You can find it here.  It's free and has prizes :)

1. How many dominants can you official have in a deck? 1 of each (in a normal sized T1 deck)
2. How does the demon card " Foul Spirit" work, when it states as it special ability, "Negate all special abilities on all character and enhancement cards except this one." Does this mean only during battle or or the whole time it is on the field? When Foul Spirit blocks, it cancels the SA of the heroes who attacked (unless they "cannot be negated")
3. Banding? The rule book is rather unclear about it. This is just Redemption's way of saying "add to battle".  So if one character can band to another character, then you attack with the first one, and it allows you to add the 2nd one in to help out.

Also as a side note there needs to be tournaments here in Spokane Washington where I live.
After you've been playing for just a little bit longer, you could host your own tournament there and start up a new playgroup :)

Sweet,

Thank-you for the tips.
Also what are the really good cards?

Buckler. And pretty much any card with Servant in the name (other than Servant Girl).
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Pol is joshing you.

There are so many good cards. It really depends what colors you are playing. All the dominants are good to some extent, though some are better than others.

Joshing about the Buckler? Maybe. But the two male Servants are like the most powerful cards in the game.
