Title: 2 and 3 liner, out too?
Post by: hi123 on June 23, 2012, 10:16:02 AM
A couple weeks ago, I posted a thread called Shuffler, Dead N Gone? Well, this is basically the same thing with the 2/3 liners. My theory for shuffler being out of decks is because of the rule changes, you cannot rescue your own lost souls. Nazereth also stops that too.

Now, what about the 2 and 3 liners? Those two cards use to always be used with defense, and now not so much. I dont use either now for this reason: Its not protected for SOG or NJ unlike the */4 or NT only, which are staple in decks. If you give half to your opponents and he/she has SOG thats two LS's right there, without NJ.

- Like the shuffler, are the 2 or 3 lines now too risky to be put into deck?  :-\

I wouldn't use the 2/3 Liner without Burial. I used the 2 Liner with Death of Unrighteous (without Burial) for a while, but it was too inconsistent and it occasionally backfired.

If you have the right cards it can be awsome. An example would be playing with burial, Horma, and Death of Unrighteous.

They are all usefull even without the 2-3 liner but in conjunction with it can be awesome.

Also, when I do play it I never just "let" someone tap it. I defend it as if they will rescue it right away and will only tap if I lost the battle or had no block at all.
