Title: Unspokens made spoken
Post by: jbeers285 on October 14, 2015, 07:04:39 PM
Life has been crazy the last couple months.

My wife, son and I ended up In Eastern KY instead of New Brunsiwick Canada.  I started taking classes but have found my self in deep battles with the theology being presented to me in classes.  Being that I am a pastoral ministries major I contacted several trusted spiritual leaders in my life all of whom felt the best thing was for us to move on from the school I am currently enrolled it.

I am working towards that end but have no clear path.  I have a potential situation that could work for my family back in Circleville OH.  That said it would take several doors to be opened by God.

I know that
1. I need to move from the school I am attending.
2. I am exhausted from taking 21 credit hours and working 30+ hours a week.
3. We are struggling to pay our bills with the money we are bringing in.

Things I don't know
1. Where God would have me lead my family.
2. If I should just finish online to save money.
3. Where I can move my family too.
4. Where I can find a job that will meet the requirements financially for my family.

I am asking for someone to come along side my family as a prayer partner for a time.  I know God is calling me to lay down my pride and earthly strength and to trust Him with every step.  It's hard for me and conviction is on my heart to lay it all down and to cast my cares upon Him.

Prayer is much appreciated.

In Christ,
Josiah Beers

Hi Josiah,

I will happily come along side you and your family in prayer. Putting it all at the feet of Jesus is exactly what you need to do. It is amazing what God will do in our lives once we simply surrender it all to Him. If you will keep Him first through these difficult times and submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I know that He will not only bring you through the trials, but He will open doors and bless you beyond your imagination. Stay focused on Jesus, brother!

Josh

I can understand some of your struggles and sympathize with the others. Prayers for you to keep hanging on to the hand of Jesus as you follow the path He leads you on. Love you brother! If you want to talk, I am good at listening if you want to set up a Skype call sometime.

Thank you everyone for the prayer support and the strong response, it really means a lot.  I will continue to let you all know if there is something further you can do for us, but prayer is the key and I appreciate the fact that such an awesome community to come to with this burden.  Thank you to all of you.  I will keep updates on this thread so you will continue to know how to pray.

Move to Minnesota...that's what all the other Redemption National Champs are doing... ;D

On a serious note, I'll keep you and your family in prayer.  :)

And you know, if you did feel a prompting about MN, there's a lot of good schools here... ::)
