Hey guys I'd like some prayers for my girlfriend stephanie
She's mildly anorexic, but mainly for her spiritual health. She doesn't really feel like God loves her. Please pray for me as I try to help her see God's love through my actions. Thanks alot!

did you tell her about john 3:16?
-
She's aware of everyhing and has grown up inthe church. She simply feels like god does not want her.

praying...is she depressed then? cut?
-
Not cutter. She just doesn't eat. She started being anorexic around 6th grade and it's gotten to a point where she can't sotp even though she wants to. I suppose I should add a prayer for Wisdom as I try to get her to tell other people, such as her parents, who might be able to help her.

Yeah, I know how that is. I'ts like smoking. You want to smoke at first... but then when you don't, you're too addicted/can't stop. I'll be praying, that's a shame. My cousin got anaerexic and was pretty bad. At 15 she weighed like 70 pounds. Don't worry, she's better now, but I know how bad that is. I'll definitely be praying.

My suggestion is to give her an amount of time to tell on her own (like a week) with the understanding that if she doesn't talk to her parents by then, that you will. People die from anorexia, and if she is past the point of stopping herself, then she needs help, and fast.

Thanks Fireninja. That's how she seems to be. She wants to but she can't. I seem to be making headway in getting her to talk to God, which is the most important thing. So that's a silver lining.
Prof, thanks for that. I have already threatened to tell her parents if I have to, so she knows I will. I'm playing this day-by-day for now. If it gets any worse, I'll talk to them. For now, she can definately survive how she is.

Death is not the only negative outcome from prolonged anorexia. There are always physical repercussions for anorexia, some of which are not seen.
Our prayers will continue.
