My sister found out this evening that one of her cats has feline Leukemia. The vet unfortunately can't do anything, and they've suggested that the cat should be put down as she (the cat) most likely won't survive too much longer.
My sister, understandably, is very upset about this, my mom is driving the couple hours to where she lives so my sister will have some company. This is especially hard on her because this will be the second cat she will have lost to illness (the first was almost exactly 2 years ago, in fact).
