Please Pray for My Back!!! *Update*

(1/2) > >>

soul seeker:
Hey,
I've never posted here and was reserved to do it until this morning when the problem persisted.  Yesterday, I woke up that morning with soreness in my back but thought nothing of it and wrote it off as "I slept on it wrong."  While watching a movie, it got worse (couldn't turn my head without pain.)  So I decided to take a hot shower.  When I went to dry my hair, my back seized/locked up.  For several hours I couldn't bend over or touch my head (thankfully my wife had come home in the meantime.)  I couldn't go to the doctor because I have a weekend full of youth events planned.  I used IcyHot, back massager, heating pad, and Ibuprofin to ultimately dull the pain, so I could make the 5th Quarter Party that I was in charge of for 50 to 100 kids.  My back started feeling better as I socialized with the kids, so (against the promise to my wife) I decided to play Volleyball.  On the first spike, my back locked again, but I wouldn't quit (yes, I'm dumb when it comes to sports).  By the time I got home I was practically in tears from the pain.  I went through all the motions again hoping it would be better by this morning.  It's not.
Here's the thing:  I've done nothing to originally injure my back, so that has me worried.  Plus, the fact that I'm not that old.  I still have a youth event tonight and a full day tomorrow.  I need prayers of strength and healing (a little intelligence and discerning would be good too  ;) ).   If this is not better, then I have to call the doctor come Monday.  It would kill me to not be able to play sports or to run an active lifestyle.  I need some extra prayers.

Jonathan,  you are getting OLDer!  Accept that, seriously!  On the more serious side,  go see a doc ASAP, just to make sure.  I would regret a NY host missing his activities and tourneys out of injury.

Prayers up!

Lamborghini_diablo:
Yeah, make sure you see a doctor so you know its not a spine issue.... If it is, that isn't good at all.

Praying its simply a muscle issue, and that it heals quickly.
