Hi guys,
I just found out that Shawn Capron (Korunks here on the forum) is in the hospital, and will remain there for at least a couple days. He has diverticulitis, and the doctors are deciding whether he will need to have surgery to correct it.

Please join me in praying for him and his wife during this time.

Hey Everyone

Thank you Prof Underwood for your kind words and thoughtfulness! And Thanks also Chris for your prayers

The Surgeon said that the abscess in his colon should clear up with antibiotics, so that's good for now, taking it day by day. However now there is an infection in his blood, so he's going in for another CT scan in the next 48 hours to continue in fighting that.

Jerome and family, thank you bunches for your prayers, we truly appreciate it!
Nothing too new to report, still waiting on bloodwork results, but looks like one more CT scan in the next 48 hours should tell us where we're at right now in the healing process. Please pray the results will lead us to know when we can come home!

Oops!
Okay so it's not the CT scans we need results for, it's the bloodwork. As long as the infection is still present he needs the IV.

Hey Everyone

Thank you all again so much for your prayers and support during this time. We appreciate it more than words could ever express, and I am so grateful and BLESSED that my husband has so many friends out there who care about him. Praise Jesus, Shawn is coming home tomorrow!! He has a lil bit of a ways to go recovery wise, but the infection in his colon is looking a lot better, and the infection in his blood is gone

How Great is our God?? His power to heal us, and take care of us in need amazes me every time

Thank you all again so very much!! For those of you I've never met I hope I am able to in the future, if not, there's always our mansions in the skies

and to all others, see you again soon!!

hey all just wanted to give you an update. Sarah txted me about an hour ago and she had to take shawn back into the ER. Not sure all the details just that he had some breathing trouble. he had an x-ray on his lungs and they are doing another CT scan. if everyone can just continue to keep him and Sarah in your prayers as they are going through this that would be graet. Thanks a bunch and God Bless!!

Shawn has a blood clot on the lower lobe of his right? lung I think and fluid in his lungs as well that they're not not sure if it's pneumonia or just fluid, I'll find out later this morning. Unfortunately I am not able to stay with him this time so I am home getting a few hours of sleep before I head back. Will keep everyone posted and Thank You all so Very Much for your prayers.

Hey all

Thank you again Jerome for your prayers! Shawn is doing much better. His breathing is almost back to normal, and they switched him from a blood thinner thru the IV to a pill form. Lots of blood tests and hopefully if the medicine works, we can go home and stay home this time!!

So I was a lil wrong yesterday, they had him on both a pill and the IV, he needed to be on the IV until there was enough of the pill in him so to speak. BUT they really did take him off the IV today, and he is hopefully coming home tomorrow, let's pray this time for good?

Thanks everyone, this actually helps me deal, so I really appreciate it. I'll miss this when he comes home and takes over his account again hehe

Sorry so long in responding, been a very busy week! Shawn came home last Tuesday, and is doing so well. Working at home today, but back to work tomorrow! He will be on the blood thinners for at least 4 months probably 6. So other than that and some change to diet, he's all good

lil pain here or there, but nothing major. Thank You all again So very much for your prayers and support!! To God be the Glory Honor and Praise!!
