Title: A Youth Leader between a rock and a hard place...
Post by: soul seeker on February 10, 2009, 11:50:56 PM
Hey Guys,
I need some serious prayer for God's wisdom and guidance.  I thought I was doing the right thing, but I have received so much "push back" that now I'm not so sure.  My stress and anxiety level is going up.  I'm quite disheartened.  Sometimes it is difficult to be the leader and make decisions that affect people's futures.  What does God want me to do?  Please pray that he will reveal it.
In Christ,
a real life "soul seeker"

I would like to give an update and thank you for your prayers:
First:  Praise God, for answered prayer and a peaceful solution!
After a successful family meeting (where people involved worked out their issues) and a successful parents meeting where questions could be asked and comments made: the issue is resolved, and my original decision (that I felt was what God wanted) stands.  Now everybody is on board and supportive of my decision.
Again thanks for your prayers!  God granted wisdom, guidance, and peace during a stressful situation.

Praise God for answered prayer.  I'm glad that this situation all worked out well Jon.  Keep up the good work!
