Rob's mother, Geri Anderson, passed away recently and there will be services held this weekend. Flowers have been sent on behalf of the Redemption community. I would like to provide this place for anyone who would like to leave a comment and/or prayer of sympathy and/or encouragement for the Anderson family.
"God, please let the Anderson's feel your hand of strength and love through this time and help us all look forward to the reward that Geri has gone on to realize. In Jesus name...Amen!"

Very sorry to hear about this loss in the Anderson family! I do pray that the family feels God's wonderful presence and peace during this time of loss!

Rob, if you see this, please know your family is in my prayers during this time. I know that while it is comforting to know that she is enjoying her reward, there is still grief for those waiting here.
I have never met Geri, but its amazing to think of what an impact she indirectly had on my life. Raising Rob to not only follow Christ, but also to support him in his creative endeavors led to the creation of Redemption, which has given me dozens of friends from across the country, including 2 brothers in law.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family!

I'm sorry for your and your family's loss, Rob. May our Father comfort you and yours during this time.
-
May the Lord bless you and keep you, May the Lord shine His light upon you and be gracious to you, may the Lord look down upon you with favor and give you peace, Amen. I pray that the Andersens would find comfort in the Father's love in this time and joy for what has been given to Rob's mother and the joy that they will soon meet again!

Rob,
My father died just before last Christmas, so I empathize with you during this time of mixed emotions. I pray for you and your family to have a special feeling of God's presence during this time, and that His peace will pass all understanding.

My condolences, Rob.

Travis, thank you for sending the flower / plant arrangement. It was unexpected and a great encouragement to Susan and I to see it at mom's memorial service last Saturday. It now enjoys a prominent place in our home.
We are sad that we will not see mom for a while. However, we are grateful that she is no longer in pain. The last few months for her were brutal. This had a lot to do with Bethany and I leaving Nationals early Saturday morning. All of my children were able to come home a couple of weeks before mom passed and say goodbye to her.
After mom's service, I followed my son, Mark, back out to Wilmington to surf some of the waves that Jose was sending to NC. Scott, Mark and Katie share a home in Wilmington. Scott and Mark are working and Katie is a junior at UNCW. Scott had been in HK for three weeks working but, was able to fly back early to join us. Monday was 2 ft overhead. I was riding Scott's 8 ft log. No duck-diving that board. Every ride was expensive because it was so difficult to paddle out past the break again. I got the everlovin crap beat out of me and had the time of my life. It was a good trip to decompress.
Thank you for the prayers.
Rob
