Title: Who would be interested in playing Iron Man at Nationals this year?
Post by: uthminister [BR] on July 10, 2015, 03:43:36 PM: It has come to my attention that John M., the longtime organizer of Iron Man, will not be in attendance this year. I am considering taking up that mantle and putting Iron Man on in his stead. I want to make sure that there is interest in playing Iron Man this year at Nationals. I want to know if Iron Man was offered, would you be interested in playing. For those who are unaware of what Iron Man is, allow me to give a short explanation. When you sign up to play Iron Man you receive a sleeve of tokens that are unique to you. You then play 2-player games whenever you can find the time and the opponent; usually before and after rounds. If you win the game you receive one of your opponent's unique token cards. Finally, on the last day of the National Tournament all Iron Man tokens will be collected and the top 3 players who have the most of their opponents' tokens will receive prizes. PLEASE ONLY RESPOND TO THIS THREAD IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING NATIONALS IN KNOXVILLE THIS YEAR AND ARE CONSIDERING PLAYING IRON MAN.

I found the thread with the dates on it. Let me check my calendar and church responsibilities for the following Sunday.

About what time would the tournament be ending on Saturday?

John M. has asked me to run Iron Man in his stead if I can make it to Nationals. At this time I am actively working to secure travel plans.
