I agree with everyone else that giving independent RNRS points to TEAMS players is the way to go :)

Okay, so double the RNRS value of individual play, and then split it between the two players.  It balances out.

Rule question with teams, which may not fit here but I don't know how to address it?

Does your teammate get to draw cards if they have "gifts" up and you play a card like "reach."

Although I don't know the rules for teams, I was under the impression that your teammate is not considered an opponent.
