I think your hiding behind that. I know people far mroe handicapped than you are by mental problems that have found jobs. There are completely retarded adults, who have 9 year old minds, who function as stockers at grocery stores. It can happen if you try.

Don't use this as a shield behind which you can hide.  Go out and do something!  You can do it, I have no doubts about that.

I agree with Cameron and Janissary, Raven. I think you're using the Ausperger's as a secondary shield for your classic "I can't do it" attitude. If you apply yourself and keep at it, you can do pretty much whatever you want.

I understand you have Ausperger's. Believe me when I say there's a LOT of people out there who have jobs who have far worse problem's than yours. You are telling the truth when you say you have Ausperger's; I don't believe that it's a valid excuse to not get a job.

Nope. I can't even use red ink to grade tests because it may hurt someone's feelings to see all that RED.   :o

That's pretty crazy. I guess my math teacher graded my tests in all red, so even good comments were in red. I don't think words can communicate how scared I was when I got my first test back.

Well... to compare it with something else, I was more scared then than after I got my first physics test back. I got a 39.5 out of 40, but I thought that 39.5 was my percentage score.

Anyway, my new math teacher grades with green pen. I have to really try to find his comments amid my calc III problems.

Anyway, if you use any color pen to grade couldn't someone's feelings be hurt if they see a lot of the color? Soon you'll have to grade in... permanenet pencil... yeah, that'd be the only thing that wouldn't hurt somebody's feelings.

I was thinking about grading in invisible ink and making them go over to a blacklight to see their grade.  ::)

Rules these days... I thought the point of school was to hurt their feelings and destroy their ideals, all of this is REDefining the purpose of school! I think we should REDeploy the original tactics that convinced people of that purpose in the first place; as I feel that will be much easier than to REDact some new guide lines. Those may be the only things that can possibly REDeem school. I feel a 70's era REDux reviving itself!

Although not being able to write in RED is silly. I suggest you tell all of your students to hand write their next paper in <insert very obscure color that 99% of people won't be able to find> because other colors make you sad, just to see if someone actually tries ;)

KY for nats 09!
As much as I would love for Nats to be in KY, I don't really understand why you would include us in your list.  You haven't come to any of our tournaments yet (including large ones like States and Regionals).  You don't even go to tournaments in TN.  I am beginning to doubt whether you would attend Nats if it were anywhere other than your house :)

Nope. I can't even use red ink to grade tests because it may hurt someone's feelings to see all that RED.   :o
I grade in red ink all the time.  Private schools FTW :)

I go to locals. I drive two hours every month for Bryon's locals. That's why I can vouch for California. But I see prof's point. You can't not go to any lower-level tournies and then want to have natz. It just doesn't work that way.

well i'v noticed for the past few years i'v missed awesome/hilarious nationals
one nats with cheerleaders, one nats with tim maly getting a mohawk and in the same tourney people sing a rendition of "We will rock you" and again in the same tournament, "The Kiss" happened to kevin shride and nats 08 there was a marriage proposal.
if you were me you'd understand and be just as irritated as i am.
i'd go to nationals but it depends on the fee and the city and state that'll host it.

thanks for ignoring everything I said. We ALL want to go to natz, and we ALL missed those exact same thing. My point is that if you don't even go to the small tournies, why should you be able to vouch for the big one?
