My fellow Northeast players. I thought it would be good to have a thread to discuss the upcoming high level tournaments.
I plan to put in for New York and Maryland States this year. I think it would be great if we can spread them all out to help maximize attendance.

List of Northeast Tournaments
New York- RobM host April 23rd (Had 17 participants!)
Massachusetts- May 7th Southwick, MA John M Host
Connecticut State - May 28th Bristol, CT John M Host
Regionals -June 3&4 Bristol, CT John M Host
New Jersey - Steve L June 18th
Maryland- RobM host with Rob Smith June 25th
And inspired by Roy may we pray and declare hosts and players to arise in our other Northeast states.
New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, & Delaware.

I will be discussing with my group soon potential dates for NY and with Rob Smith about Maryland.
New York might be earlier this year, possibly April 23. Looking at dates in may or June for Maryland.

Thanks for starting this thread. I will host MA & CT States. I am fairly certain Steve Levitan will host NJ State. I will also host Northeast Regional. My date for the regional is the first week of June. 6/3 + 6/4.
I plan on having CT states the weekend before the regional 5/28. All other dates are still up for grabs. Now that there is only 5 competitive categories it should be easier to get all the events in.
Looking forward to hearing from all the North east hosts and getting a great tournament season going.

Awesome to hear! I will request off work the weekend of June 4th so that i can hopefully make it to regionals.
Not sure if I will be able to make the drive two weekends in a two but I will surely ask the wife. Lol

Type: Type 1 - 2 Player - Rotation ($10.00), Type 2 - 2 Player - Rotation ($10.00), Type 1 - Teams - Rotation ($10.00), Closed Deck - 2 Player ($10.00) and Booster Draft - Multi-Player LoC ($40.00). Starts 9:00am.
It’s official this is the date and info for NY State Tournament. Booster might be $45 if we are able to do six pack per person.

Here is the schedule for the NE tournament. One time registration fee for all open deck events. $10
Friday 5PM - 9PM Type 2 Two player & Closed Deck $20 (1/2 STARTER + 3 ROTATION PACKS)
Saturday 9AM Type 1 two player
Lunch break
1PM Teams
4PM Booster Draft ( 6X rotation packs) $25
Overnight accommodations at the church are available Friday night. Please bring sleeping bag.

I will be there! Do we have to choose between T2-2p and sealed? or will they be one after the other? If I have to choose I will likely play sealed. I will play T1-2P, Teams ( looking for a teammate) and booster on Saturday.

Last big tournament for the Northeast is Saturday in Maryland! My hope is next year we can have even more state tournaments! Perhaps we can revive PA states and NH states! Looking forward to some great adventures!

Is there no chance for any additional tournaments in the MD area? From WV and there aren’t any other events in nearby area. Trying to get locals interested in playing.

Hey are you on the discord? That is a great way to plug into the bigger community. I hope you are able to get some people interested in your area. Perhaps some Maryland or PA players are not too far from you.

I never did discord until last year. And now I am able to stay connected with all my redemption friends that way.
