We're still finalizing details, but there will be a local tournament in Colts Neck, NJ on Dec. 3, 2011.
Two events: T1 2 player and Booster Draft
Location:
Colts Neck Community Church
25 Merchants Way
Colts Neck, NJ 07722
(Site of NJ State and NE Regional in 2010)
Time: 10 AM start for T1 2P. Booster Draft afterward
Hosts: Jonathan Braun (1st timer!) and Robert Braun
Cost: T1 2P FREE, Booster Draft $12
I'm hoping for BD to have all the new tins available, so everyone would get a 2011 tin for the draft.

The tournament is on! We will begin with deck check-in at 9, with T1 2P at 10. I will have the new tins for booster draft; every player will receive one of the new tins to draft from. (That means if there are more than 6 participants there will be multiples of at least some tins in play, but you really want a new tin, don't you?)
The location is confirmed. Some of you have been to CNCC before for tournaments (local, district, state, and regional), but if not you can get directions from Mapquest. The church web site is www.ourcncc.net.
We'd like to make Jonathan's first hosting a success, so I'll be providing free refreshments!
If you even think you might come, please respond so I can have some idea of how many to expect. We;ll have some of the CNCC youth coming as well.

Hope to see many of my Redemption friends tomorrow at Colts Neck. Doors open at 9, and T1 2P begins at 10. NOTE: There will be a choir rehearsal in the sanctuary in the morning, so we may have to keep it down a bit for a couple of hours. :)

Thanks to everyone who came today! I had a great time, since I passed off the host duties (more or less) to my two sons. I got back into the swing of Booster Draft; despite having a pretty lame deck for which I drafted badly (our theme song was "We're on the Island of Lame Booster Decks") I got a really epic play down in my first game to win it. I never knew Fellowship could be so good. (Do you know just how many OT Heroes there can be on the table in a 3-player game that's been going on for almost an hour?)
