Title: New York States 2017
Post by: soul seeker on May 16, 2017, 09:20:02 PM: I haven't seen any talk about anyone hosting NY States, so I would rather see a small tourney then none at all.

With that in mind, I'm hoping to host NY States. I've started talking to Rob and filling out paperwork.
I'm looking at the 3rd or 4th weekend in June.

I need one of 2 things:
1) If you are planning on hosting NY States then let me know.
2) If it is me, then I ask you to let me know if you plan to come so I can properly plan events & schedules.

Definitely Type 1 2 player and booster draft

We could probably manage to put type 2 decks together also for type 2 2 player and multi, but we'd be more into type 2 for the fun and much less competitive.

There will be 5 categories:
T1-2P, T1-MP, T2-2P, Teams, & Booster.

To keep Booster costs down, we will have 2 box packs & foil packs.
There are a couple local restaurants available.
Any other questions, then feel free to ask.

DO IT! I plan to have some new cards with the Booster Draft, so that will get you new cards as well!

At minimum, the church is available.
I'm working out details with my wife to open up our home for people to crash.

I was thinking of having booster draft Friday night, so the cards could be used on Saturday. However, I'm pretty flexible on the schedule.

Really wish I could be there , however my wife is going through a rough time , so I won't be able to make it . Not sure if you have seen our posts on Facebook . Our son Lukas was born at 20 weeks back in December and minutes later went to be with the LORD in heaven . These past months have been tough. Hopefully I will be able for get back into gaming in the fall or next year .

I had not heard of your loss. I want to offer my condolences. I understand your decision and thanks for letting me know. Maybe another time. In the meantime, I will lift you and your wife up in my prayers. :'(
