Do you still get a second set of promos for all As?

Is an A- classified as an A? 

I don't know how getting 106% on my math final didn't bump my grade up 2%......

Especially beings I failed tests all year, so I was averaging like 80%..... so the weighting should help me in this scenario

If you get straight A's and bring in a report card of sorts you can get double promos

It has to be the most current report card, and no, he doesn't change the rules for college students.

darn. I got one B this semester. not that I care, the promos are basically worthless anyway, but...

You could sell them pretty easily for $50, at least.

seriously? I really don't think they're worth that much, but...I might do that. pay off some of the tournament fees.

How do you get a B in Spanish? I didn't turn in any homework all year and I got like a 98....

I'm doing PSEO. I was getting upper 80s on most of the tests.
how did you get a B in Math? I put a smiley face on a wrong problem and the teacher counted it right!

My newb school doesn't have PSEO Spanish... :c.

I didn't get a B in math. I got an A-. Probably because I didn't study all year, so I always go the formulas wrong.

in other words, you weren't a Junior/Senior.

I'm pretty sure they don't offer PSEO Spanish... I signed up for my classes next year and the only Spanish option was Spanish III, but they do offer some   PSEO.

what? what? you should have access to all the classes at Riverland.

I was only offered a math, three Englishes, and two histories.... I'm within the top 5% of my class, and I believe the cut off is like 33%, so I should be offered all available ones.

That might be because I opted to take the RCC classes at the High School instead of Riverland, though.

that would be the problem...

I just IM'd a friend that did opt to take the classes at the college, he said he wasn't offered PSEO Spanish either.

odd, because Ian (Bissinger) was definitely in my spanish class this past semester.

my Science teacher at the HS is the coolest teacher ever

That science teacher at Oakdale Christian Academy might be hurt....except that he actually isn't very cool at all, so it's OK

The teachers at the HS are pretty good. The only ones that are..... lacking..... are the Spanish teachers. There is really only one Spanish teacher that should have a job....

Although my grade seems to talk a lot. We talked about a T-Rex for 45 minutes one day in English, Chicken Nuggets an entire History hour, and in Math we talked about Tiger Woods for 30 minutes.

(After an epic game of pictionary, where I drew Tiger Woods. It took a while to get it beings I drew 15 ladies before I drew Tiger or a golf ball.)

Yeah, I know. Atleast I'll still get college credits for my Math/English/History.

Back in the day when I went to National Tournaments, A- would count for the double promo deal. Or at least Rob didn't seem to mind so much about my one A-. I did that for three years starting in 2005 I believe. Now if only I could hide my Partial Differential Equations grade from this past semester somehow...

i had straight A's all year and I got the academic Scholar award witch means I maintained a grade average of 95%+ all year and I won the Math Olympics for computation for all of my grade in the school district and all this just because I was in 6th grade.

How did you do in spelling??

1st in school, regionals, and districts. 4th in states.

if only there was a double nats promotion for us guys out of school.

If this really is true what is the grade limit can you be like in second grade or can you be in high school.

Any grade through college has worked in the past.

Graduate school would also work, probably.  Provided it wasn't a fluff school like the U of M.

I am not able to make this offer any more because we are starting to run out of some of the cards.  So, I want to stretch them as long as I can.

You were generous to maintain this deal as long as you did.   It is understandable that it had to stop sometime.  As a teacher, I appreciate your support for academic excellence.

Oh well. It's unfortunate, but understandable. Too bad I was never at Nationals to take advantage of the deal .

Ironica has a good idea too. Or maybe you could also accept $x Redemption Cash towards the new set if someone gets all A's (assuming you don't already?), but that may be hard to keep track of.
