That's good, it would have been a shame for you to miss both State and Regionals.

Oh, and I'm guessing we'll bring down a group of 6-10 RLKs, but that isn't for sure.

Looks great Jason! I'm looking forward to it. Also, I would definitely be in favor of running Booster after T2Multi...Although I somewhat doubt that will end up happening.

I'm also curious as to what Type B is...

The replacement to type S because type S is copyrighted.

The replacement to type S beings type S is copyrighted.

Maybe instead of shooting straws, its blowing bubbles?

Under Type A.
You can only enter if you are under the age of 4 or have never played Redemption.

About the Perkins...
1.) Will the waiter be as weird as the one in Iowa?
2.) Do we have to follow Wild Bill to get there?

1. Minnesota > Iowa therefore Waiter from Minnesota > Waiter from Iowa
2. Yes. I would advise scouting the area multiple times for any potential hazards such as places to do u-turns or drive around roundabouts multiple times.

NO  :'(  They appear to be anti-SPAM at perkins - they have no dishes that contain SPAM.  Maybe we'll have to offer SPAM for lunch on Saturday so no one feels slighted.

Sweet. I'll bring spam hotdish. That way everyone gets both Minnesota in the hotdish, and Austin in the spam.

Sauce, you bring enough spam to the boards, you don't need to bring any to state.
 ;)

I am glad you didn't bring it to Iowa the locals would have tried to call it casserole.  ::)

Does anybody know if their is a good auto mechanic in Austin. My car keeps wanting to drift  to the left, so bad it often turns in circles. I tore my rotator cuff driving to Iowa, just trying to krrp it straight on the highway.

Is there anyway we can do type 2 two player on Friday night? I think it is going to be smaller. I can think of 7 including the two hosts. 5 if they don't play (not that it would take time if you guys played) and then 4 if it is paired with booster (Wild Bill like booster). Moreover, I don't think anyone who is planning on coming and doing type 2 will be there on saturday. Just food for thought.

There's a very slim chance I can make it Friday night and I would also prefer T2-2P. :)

Could you explain this? Are most of the people planning on playing and then driving back on Friday evening?

Do we know that people who aren't on the boards (I am thinking of Chuck/Glenn/etc.) are not planning on attending?

Well now we have to do it!  :) Will you be there saturday?

I mispoke, I ment to say that there would most likely be no new players on saturday that would want to play type 2.  You make a good point about chuck and Glen, but didn't they come down friday night last time. besides I don't think they are playing much anymore, they don't have haven't bought much of the new set and I don't think they got into texp that much.

If worse comes to worse and Jc and Scott are worried about time I don't see why we couldn't swap type two 2 player out for type 2 multi. If we all agree we want two player more. Essentially we are trading multi for type 1-2 player. I know Jordan has regional points now so he might not want to do that, but maybe he would rather play type 1 instead.

Type 1...type 1...Oh, is that the one where the point of the game is to draw out your deck as fast as possible and try to get your SoG/NJ before your opponent?  ::)

I'm just a little confused as to what you propose the schedule should be. Are you asking to swap the time slots for T2-2P and T2-Multi? I guess I don't really see the point of that (other than letting some Iowan come and try to steal some MN state points  >:(). But I'll be there the whole time, and I plan on playing both T2 events, so as long as they're both offered and have different time slots, I'm fine.

And Type 2 is where the point of the game is to get your Thaddeus before your opponent...

Yeah, if we can't do both type 2s friday night. Personally, I would like to play both the 2 player catagories that was why I suggested it and I thought you, Matt, and Alan would like to play as well. Otherwise the field is going to be missing a lot of people, might be boring for those playing type 1. And besides we can't let tgt tim win mn state again. :P

P.S. Don't worry about Gabe, we'll give him a mix of Big Red and SPAM he won't ever recover from.

Oh I see, so you're saying you would like T2-2P after T2-Multi on Friday night?

That would be hardcore. But I'd be up for it. I assume we'd have 2 rounds of T2 Multi and 3 rounds of T2-2P, which would be at least 7 hours of game play, starting at around 7 PM. So I guess I don't see that being very likely...

It wouldn't be much different if we did booster and multi side by side like jc talked about originally. If we can get all the type two players in on it it could work.

Hey,

I'll be driving up and getting there about 11:00 Friday night.  I'd enjoy playing in an event Friday night if they're run sequentially and I get there in time for the second event.  Any update on the likelyhood of toying with the Friday schedule?

I chatted with Scott and we'll probably leave the schedule as is.  Sounds like there may be a couple more coming on sat only and would like to play T2.
