Title: MD/WV
Post by: Cplz.white on November 19, 2017, 10:06:48 AM
I just got out of military, and I would love to play redemption again. Found all my old cards, but is there anyone still active in the western Md or WV areas?  I was listed as Zachattack in Md years ago when there the game seemed to be booming. Where did y’all go?

Not sure how much you're interested in traveling around, but there's a group in Hanover, PA.  I believe that they're meeting fairly frequently.

I'm over in southwestern PA, about 20 minutes north of Morgantown, WV.  No group here, but we did just have a district tourney in eastern Ohio that could lead to more activity in that area (Cadiz, Ohio).

There's a couple people who go to Creation every year from that eastern WV / western MD area, though they're not active on the boards as far as I'm aware.

Thanks for the information, but I’m all the way in panhandle. It’s be an extremely long drive to Ohio.

I’d be down to do that, but I’d need to brush up my skills again first.

Thanks for the information, but I’m all the way in panhandle. It’s be an extremely long drive to Ohio.

Google Maps tells me it is 3 hours from Cumberland (not sure how close you are to there) to Cadiz, where we had a tourney 11/4/17 and plan to have more in the future.

3 hours is certainly not a short drive, but the tournament lasts most of the day, and you'll get to meet new people and make new friends.

Lackey is the best option if there's no one around you that plays.  It's never the same as playing in person, but you will definitely get the opportunity to "brush up on your skills" if you play regularly on Lackey   ;)

If you still haven't taken the plunge into Lackey, PM me if you'd like a tutorial session.
