There are also a few hotel options on the south end of Hagerstown (Funkstown area) off of I-70 and these also have plenty of restaurant and grocery options.
There are several hotels closer to the center of town but I do not recommend these locations. For the most part these are under $100.00 per night so you can use that as a general guide but if they aren't in the two locations I noted I would steer clear of them.
