We bought the 3rd edition starter decks for my 7-year-old son for Christmas. We are still learning the game but so far he is excited. I would like to find other players in our area that could help him learn the game faster as I don't always understand all of the rules. If we could get enough kids interested maybe we could start a play group and eventually host a tournament. We live in North Little Rock, AR. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the boards, Mary. I will relay your post to Kirk who's studying in AR. His board name is Captain Kirk. He's a gaming host himself. And please to no hesitate to ask any questions and have courage to start hosting your small tourneys even at home.
Godbless!

Thanks! I downloaded a sample game and that has helped some. I will definitely be asking questions as we move along. My son had been begging for Bakugan for Christmas but I didn't have a peace about buying it. He is enjoying learning Redemption. Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome to the Redemption Family. I started much the same way with my kids and the 3rd Edition Starter Decks and we haven't looked back since. It is a great game that kids enjoy sharing with their friends also.
Godspeed,

Mary,
I attend John Brown University in Siloam Springs (NW Arkansas) during the school year. I think it is about 3 and a half hours to Little Rock from here, so it is a bit of a drive, but I might be able to come down at some point in time next school year. Next week is finals and then I won't be in Arkansas over the summer. There are also a few other guys who live in Arkansas, but they, like myself, haven't had a whole lot of time to play in recent months. If we get our act together in the fall, we could try to start having some tournaments in Arkansas.

Kirk,
That would be cool! I am also going to contact youth pastors here in my area and see if they have players or would like for their youth group to learn. If you find that you will be down this way please let me know!
Thanks!
