What are people doing for lodging the Saturday night after NATS if they don't head home right away?

Find a MN player and bunk at their house or rent a hotel room.

I might be able to take in a guy or two. I'd have to talk to my parents about that though.

Hijacking this thread, will I have access to any food prep facilities if I stay at the church?

Yes in the kitchenette down stairs.

The kitchenette will not be available for use. Somethings for breakfast will be provided for those staying over night. A noon meal is available for $5.00 at the church on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Supper will be available at the many nearby restaurants and at the church on Friday. Pizza will be available at the church on Wed. and Thur. evenings.

1.) Will that cost anything?
And the important question:
2.) COFFEE?!?!?!

New Yorkers and their coffee. Won't the excitement of new cards wake you up enough?

Yeah, us In South Florida are going to be staying at a hotel. our problem will be getting from the airport (arrival) to the tourny since we will be arriving a little late (considering we are traveling cross-country) anybody or anybody one of you guys know will be able to pick us up during (most likely) the Type 2 2 player category?

Not a problem. If you have given your flight information to the Proffessor you will be picked up at the airport taken to the hotel and tournament site. Not everybody in MN plays type 2.

hmm, well some of the other guys in our group talked to someone but they said that its going to be hard to find someone to pick us up since were getting there late and that they said they needed to be at the tournament or something of that nature.

Bump for answers.  I did want to know.  If there's a coffeemaker, I can bring my own grounds.

I believe there is a coffeemaker in the kitchenette, but I'm not entirely sure that its available. I'm sure that someone can provide a coffeemaker though; if nothing else, I'll bring my wife's (she makes her coffee at work most of the time).

Remember the church is not a Hotel. The Kitchenette is shared with other groups in the church and is very small. Non Church personel are not allowed in the Kitchenette. Their will be 50 people staying in the church. I think you will find our hospitality enjoyable. Coffee and breakfast is free in the morning.

Thank you brothers for your hospitality and unwavering service to the Body of Christ.  Gentlemen, please excuse my young padawon, I Am Knot A Blonde as he didn't check with me or my brother who're looking after him during the course of this glorious trip.  I may have kept him out of the loop and lacked in my duty in keeping him up to date on our lodging & trip arrangements and do apologize for any inconvenience our lack of communication may have caused.

Be blessed and Godspeed.

Jon,

Your humility and explanation are appreciated. As Bill said, you will be getting picked up by his wife Rose on Thursday morning. I will give her all of your information. I don't know if she has a cell phone number, but I will have Bill PM you the details. Thanks for your patience.

No problem, I give him credit for taking initiative and not relying on those around him to make all the arraignments. He's going to go far in life.

Thanks for your response Bill.  So there is no way I can keep myself fed (reasonably) without spending money there?

I'm bringing Pop Tarts, tuna salad to-go (those mix-yourself things) and granola/meal bars for the non-breakfast meals. :P
