Title: Just checking out the new RNRS Leaders and..
Post by: crustpope on July 03, 2009, 01:01:43 AM
There are a lot of people from O-H-I-O up there  ;D

Lets see if it holds out after a few more regionals though   ::)

Congrats all my buckeye brothers and sisters!

And also to those from "southern Ohio" Namely the person in sole leadership position of Type 1 2-player...Mr Mark underwood.

Yeah, at this point, only your regionals has been posted.  Kurt will be at the top in T2 2P as soon as the Southwest results are posted.  But for T1 MP, I "think" you'll have the top spot, at least through Nats :)

This is why I bear no shame in finishing a local with only one loss, or placing fifth in State.

I am impressed with those from "northern KY" namely the person in the sole leadership position of T1-mp...Mr. Matt Archibald.

Hey,

There are a lot of people from O-H-I-O up there  ;D

I guess that's one of the benefits of being the first region to send in regionals results.  :)

Matt Archibald's 82 points in T1-MP is a very very impressive number.

Tschow,

Yeah, I have to agree with you. Those are very nice numbers for type 1 multi;now he just has to deal with players from across the nation.

Wait, so Bryon's regional hasn't been tallied yet? I wonder how high I'll be after that...

I am just proud to have hosted some of the tournaments that helped put these guys in the lead.   ;D  And coming in second to Matt's first in a couple of these tournaments makes me feel like I did well.

Congrats guys. Hope your scores hold up to the end of the season.  Remember me in your victory speeches!  ;)

In my ever-ongoing quest to prove to the world that Ohio has nothing on MN, I will now be playing T1 Multi at Natz with the sole reason being to defeat matt and thus allow someone else to claim the RNRS title. Just Joking, Great Job Matt!

Serioiusly, I about peed my pants when I read this.

But I am glad the game in Ohio has been elevated so much so that those in the state of MN are actually taking notice...

Well I've always had a soft spot for those from Ohio, seeing as I lived there for about a few months with my grandma while we moved from PA to MN.

I think another important factor in the equation is the decline in MN.  There have been several great players noticably absent from Redemption tournaments and seldom seen on the boards in recent years (The Q, some of the Alsteads, The Roc to name a few).  MN has reason to fear losing it's title to a state with more great players rising in the ranks each year.  Not to mention a football team as good as the Buckeyes. :P

Great, now I have to play t-1 multi at regionals to beat you. Those cheap blocks at PA states just werent good enough.

How do you get an Ohio state graduate off of your front porch?
You pay him for the pizza!

Ar har har.

You beat me in type -1 multi... well, technically Sean beat me when he d/c ed my SoG with that Evil gold curse, Given over to Egypt.  I think I came in third there at the PA states in that category.

Which only shows the power has moved to the Northeast...oh wait, maybe it is just me who has moved.

I support all those who are going to Nats to try to beat Matt at T1 Multi (including my son who will surprisingly rise up the standings once they release).

It just means less people for Booster!   :D

EDIT: Well look at that.  The rankings have been updated.  By the way, I dislike "byes".

Well, That didn't take long  :-\

btw.  You can all come and beat me at Nats.  I promise, if you play type 1 multi at nats, you will beat me.  ;)
