Title: How to start a tournament?

I was talking to my pastor (dad) about trying to host a local tournament. He is happy about the idea so...

What steps do I need to go through to make it official or is it as simple as "do it yourself" at the local level?

This is where you find most of the information on hosting in the Redemption® Tournament Downloads section.
I'd ask anyone who actually has hosted a tournament before about specific stuff.  :)

Food's always a good thing to have.  Make sure that you keep it simple at the start.  Do your best to encourage those who don't win.  If you've got any questions, feel free to PM me.

I will have lots of freebies for new players to encourage them to come, and since you guys are about an hour away, we can probably come. I can even help you cohost if you like. When were you thinking of having tournaments?
