Benjamin Arp (DaClock)! It was really great to have him at the tournament. He's going to school in San Diego, so he made the drive to the tourney.
Also, setting a record for furthest traveled to attend a Redemption tournament: Bryan, coming all the way from China!
-
Hey Bryon who won booster?
-
um, so this bryan guy came all the way from china to cali exclusively for a redemption tournament?

Not exclusively, no. He also wanted to see Hollywood, and practice his English.

how do you get redemption cards in china?

Scott won the final round. In the final rescue attempt, he played SIX gold enhancements in the same battle. It was very impressive. :)
That made the final standings a tie for first between Scott Kramer and Luke Wolfe.

I don't. I get them in CA, from NC. Rob gets them FROM China, not IN China.
Bryan did not have Redemption cards in China. He got them when he came to California. :)
His whole trip will last 2 weeks.
-
ah so will he take them back?or is that ileagal?
-
I'm gonna guess his primary reason for coming was to come to the tournament though. ;)
-
I had a lot of fun, hopefully I'll be able to make it up for more tournaments in the future.

Yeah and we'll carpool next time Ben. Sorry I wasn't able to make it this time I had work, and a basketball game the night before... just couldn't do it all. :) That's typically how it happens... between work, basketball games and debate tournaments, I can make about one during the year... I make the first two typically and then regionals and state. Which destroys my shot at RNRS but keep me interested enough to keep playing. ;)

From the title I thought you were going to say Rob. But I guess Ben is pretty good too. ;)

I actually translated for Bryan, and I told him all about Redemption, he was just here for a field trip to CA and stayed with the Wolfs, it was great to talk to someone back from China it felts like went back to China and seeing new people. Also surprisingly didn't who Ben Arp was until we talk. LOL. Anyway, hope to see everyone else in other tournament in CA and Marcus!, we missed your group. Come back and play with us!!!.

We had a young guy on an extended visit from Korea here in MN. A couple weeks ago was his last game night before going back to Korea.

Where the heck do you live under a rock?

Some one has never been to California :P

Hahaha, but I think California is the same, I do see a lot of non-Asian here especially in El Monte.
