The Florida state tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 29, and Saturday June 30, The location is at: Windu's Comics & Collectibles, 194 US-27, Suite A, Clermont, FL 34711.
Schedule:
Friday at 4 pm we are kicking off the tournament with type 2 2-player.
Saturday at 10 am we are starting with Type 1 2-player, that will be followed by Type 1 multiplayer which will be running at the same time as Sealed deck 2-player. Those two categories will be followed by booster draft.
Type 2 2-player costs $5.00, Type 1 2-player costs $5.00, Type 1 multiplayer costs $5.00. Sealed deck 2-player costs $15.00.
Booster Draft will cost $25.00. We will be drafting the following: The Early Church, The Persecuted Church, Cloud of Witnesses, Revelation of John, and Fall of Man. Booster Draft at the state tournament we will be drafting in groups, but we will be playing the two player version (this will not be multiplayer).
Windu's does have a bathroom, and does sell snacks and drinks at their location; however, they say that you are allowed to bring your own snacks and drinks with you if you prefer. Also there is a Publix grocery store less than a mile away from the location.
For those that may be traveling a greater distance, you can stay at the cabins at Lake Louisa State park which is less than 10 miles from Windu's for $133.20 per night, and you can reserve your cabins at ReserveAmerica.com. These cabins allow for up to six people to stay there, so in the event multiple people are looking for somewhere to stay you have the ability to split the cost up to 6 ways. All of the cabins come with a lake view, and a kitchen, and a half wrap around screened in porch.The cabins hold a maximum of 6 people per cabin, the park will not allow more than six people per cabin.

There will be a live Fall of Man Booster box break at the Florida State tournament on Sat June 30
I have broken Fall of Man into six different groupings listed below. The way it works is you will agree to purchase one (or multiple) groups, and then I will open a booster box of Fall of Man live on Facebook to the the Lions Den so we can all hang out together and see what each person gets. Once the stream is finished, I will package the cards you purchased, and send them all to you!
If you are at the tournament, you can walk away with your cards then.
$30 – Group 1: Dominants, Artifacts, Covenants and Curses (possible cards)
$25 – Group 2: Sites, Cities and Lost Souls (possible cards)
$25 – Group 3: Heroes and Dual Alignment Characters (possible cards)
$25 – Group 4: Good and Dual Enhancements (possible cards)
$25 – Group 5: Evil Characters (possible cards)
$25 – Group 6: Evil Enhancements (possible cards)
*Note on pricing. I am going to keep each group roughly the same price for now. Pricing of groups will be adjusted in the future to more accurately reflect the value of that group.
Also, each of these groupings include ALL the cards in the booster box, not just the Fall of Man cards… so if you purchase Group 1, not only will you have a chance of getting the new Ultra Rare card Fall of Man, but you will also have a chance of getting Grapes of Wrath and Mayhem from Thesaurus ex Preteritus!

Normally I don't play type 2 but if no one else is going to be playing I will play Just so you have someone to play against. There are a few guys that do Play Type 2 down here so I'm assuming they will be playing.

Yes, other than the two that posted, there are some Type 2 players that are talking about attending.

It would not able to be both as there's only one Booster Draft category per State tournament.

Hey are you and Tyler planning on trying to stay down in Clermont Friday night after the Friday night events? If you guys aren't going Friday night you could do what Tyler did this past weekend and stay here in Gainesville Friday night, then I could drive you guys down to Clermont the next morning (only an hour and half drive from Gainesville to Clermont). There are a plethora of hotel options in Gainesville so you could find a reasonable rate and split the cost with Tyler and whoever else may be coming.
