Carpools:
CINCINNATI
A group of us will be riding down from the Cincinnati area together on Friday afternoon. If you are interested in carpooling, please post here or PM me.
So far, the group carpooling down includes at least 5 people. We will be taking 2 vehicles, and if we had alot more interest we could probably take 3, so we should have room for a number of others.

Kirk, I will call you tonight to confirm our meeting place for carpooling. I suggest we meet at exit #184 off I71/75S which is the first exit south of 275 in KY. Not sure what all is there but lets assume the first gas station or fast food whichever comes first on the right after turning right off at the exit. I will get there by about 3:05 and will call your cell phone to confirm where I am at. My cell is (330)618-6866. I am alone so 3 or 4 can fit in my Accord.
I will be playing Sealed Deck, Type 2 Multi and Booster. If someone needs a playr for the Team event I would play that too. See you guys Friday afternoon. Take care, Allen

Tis a shame, Justin!
Allen,
That sounds good. 6 of us will be driving in Jacob's van and we will meet you there. However, as they are not leaving Middletown until 2:30 and then picking me up in Blue Ash, we won't be there until at least 3:15. We'll move over a couple people with you.
If anyone else needs any more information or anything else, feel free to call me on my cell phone: 904-263-0972.

I also really enjoyed it. I had never really had the chance to spend much time with Clift or Tyler from GA, and enjoyed having them join us. Hearing Clift talk about the Word of God with such passion was a highlight of the weekend for me (despite me falling asleep due to exhaustion at the end of a very long week). It was also fun to mix in some basketball with Redemption, which we hadn't really done much of before in all of our tournaments with the usual OH guys.
As for the tournament itself, I think that it was probably the toughest competition that we've had a tourney so far. Our KY/OH playgroup continues to get tougher each year, and the addition of T2 heavyweights like Kirk, Clift, and Tyler really made things even tougher. I was a bit disappointed to come in 3rd in T1-mp, but I was pleasantly surprised to come in 1st in T1-2p. I was also very happy to have the distinction of being at both the tournament where Brad and Gretel got engaged (Nats '08) and their first tournament as a married couple (EC Regionals '09). And just to show my appreciation, I let Gretel dominate me in Sealed. OK actually I didn't let her, she just did anyway :)

Brad and Gret were there?!? ARGH!!!

I did ask you if you wanted a ride :P

How many people did you guys have in attendance?
North east regionals had 38. I would say it was neat to have to play so many rounds but I played all the small categories with 6,6, and 9 people so the rounds were the same as usual.
;D
