January 7th, 2012. 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Where:
Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren
46 Brethren Church Road
Mifflinburg, PA 17844
What:
Type 1 2 Player - $5
Booster Draft - $20

Food will be provided for at least meal, possibly two. If it's only one, there's a McDonalds five minutes from the location, as well as a Subway and more family-style sit down restaurants. You will not go hungry. Please post with any questions or concerns and I'll do my best to address them. It's going to be another week before I can scrape together the funds for Cactus to charge me for the tournament fees, so I won't be sending that application in until then. If anyone has interest in other categories, and there's enough support to cover them, I'll add them to the application (to be clear though, please express such interest before this Sunday).

Edit: One thing I would really like to do, and forgot to mention, is possibly run a sealed deck tournament at the same time as the T12P for new players. My church has a lot of possibility for growth thanks to John M's influence at Creation, so it would be a better mix, I think, to put players without much experience with each other, as opposed to making them compete with people who have played for two or three years (or even more). However, in order to do this, I'd need to know that the T12P tournament would have enough veterans to be worth playing.

I'll be filling out the application momentarily, and I'm going to do Booster, followed by T12P. We don't have a whole lot of time to use the church, so I want to maximize the amount of time we do, meaning only one category at a time. Sorry for those who would have liked something to run alongside Booster Draft.
