As you can tell I'm extremely ignorant when it come to tournaments.  So I'm asking all my questions now so I won't have any at the tournament! :)

In the closed deck and booster draft.  I'm guessing each player makes their decks from the starter (for closed) and packs, and then if there is more than one round, they continue to use that deck for the rest of the rounds.

So I'm asking, they don't make a new deck for every round.

Correct, they use the same deck for the entire category.

Good!  That would get really expensive.
