Note on Food Consumption: Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed in the conference center. Meals are not allowed in the conference center. Please consume meals outside the conference center. Reasonably-priced fast food places are just 2-3 minutes walk away. For the Friday night event, we suggest take early dinner before attending the tournament, then bring snacks (although drinks and snacks will be served all the time at the tournament)

If you can bring your own sleeping bag or inflatable, that would be great. There is ample guest parking at my place. You can also pitch in for a hotel room at the venue. I will try to post the 20% discount code asap.

This Regionals will be a concerted effort led my myself but most especially our dear leader, Terry M.

Please invite new players and even collectors to attend. Contact everyone who may have no access to the message boards.

If we reach a player attendance (not including non-players) of at least 40, each player receives 1x Cow pack + 1x Women pack! Gather all past and present players!

Demos and tutorials will be available to beginners all the time.

Let us match and better the NE attendance! I will truly miss the NE group but I am sure they are all in good hands.

Meanwhile, I have prepared an excerpted Teams rules and procedures to share with the McKinney playgroup. Simply print copies of the PDF so that your players can start practicing even before my group gets there on the 24th. We will teach it while we play.

@Marcus re: Impromptu-Sanctioned Official Locals on June 24th -- I plan to hold a $10 Booster Draft first, followed by time for Teams to practice, followed by Teams. Then Type 1 2P is an option if there is time. If there is enough T2 2P demand, I will make that category official as well.

The main purpose of the event on the 24th is to tweak existing decks, acquire new single cards, and for TX to start training for Teams events.

It was an honor and privilege to meet, play and beat Dario with the defensive deck he built for me. Actually I think he let me win. Its a perk of getting old. Kinda lick when you let your 7 year old beat you. We had 13 at our tournament, learned how to play teams and generally had a fantastic time chowing down on the unlimited supplyvof burnt hotdogs I prepared throughout the day. Marcus won 2 events, Joe won an event, Dario won two events, Howard won an event, I won an event teaming up with Dario in the soon to become infamous Team DBD. We are having a District at my home on Monday, June 18th. Hope to start between 8 and 9 am. We are making a concerted effort to increase the number of players in Texas.
