I was curious after a conversation I had with a guy in our playgroup, what is your favorite Redemption card art? Maybe we can even create a list of the best based on the number of times a particular card art is mentioned..so go for it! List yours...

Yeah. The first list was just the most inappropriate cards I could think of. The Battle is the Lord's looks awesome.

The reason I am doing this thread is because I have been kicking around the idea of creating Redemption playmats and was curious what art would be the most popular for such playmats. What are you thoughts about your favorite art or playmats for Redemption in general?

That was a really cool one, but I think it would probably be better for the mat to have a pic of a good card rather than an evil one. I would suggest another of Gabe's cards...

Just type (img)whatever the website is(/img)
Except replace the () with [] and put a real website there :)

If you're putting actual card images in playmats, it's probably a good idea to make them greyscale to avoid confusion

In fairness this is the same art, just a cool layout...I got a set of the borderless dominants from Gabe at Nats and they are so much fun to play with cause of the wow factor...but I am missing Doubt and Glory of the Lord for some reason...

I hate the Cahaba Angel of the Lord (*gets ready for -1s*)
I like the Michael Carroll Image a LOT better. I mean Cahaba's AoTL has the waist the size of a fist...

off the top of my head: Guardian Angel (I think it's the green dressed one with green hands), Guardian, & Michael (wa/k).
If I remember right: it was a poster of Michael that first true me to the Redemption booth.

Aotl A/B. To me a giant Angel holding the world is awesome but I am biased towards shiny and the c/d Aotl wasn't shiny enough.

What do you mean by shiny? Speaking of shiny, it would have been sweet if they had reprinted SoG and AotL in TeP to have foil versions of them...

If this is for your mat, an old Angel of the Lord (c/d) and Michael would make a really cool one, perhaps Guardian Angel? Another great combination would be King of Tyrus and Prince of this World.

Yeah, I am trying to find out what kind of artwork from the game people like and then will begin tracking down how to legally use the art either from contacting Rob or the original creator/distributor...
